The missionary museum was a missionary house built between 1906 and 1910 when the missionaries began their official mission in Daegu, and combined Korean traditional and Western architecture, with its foundation built by using stones from Daegu local fortress that was built in 1736 during the reign of King Youngjo in Joseon upon which red bricks were piled up. The roof was at first built by using Korean roof tiles before it was renovated with galvanized sheets. The house used to be occupied by Ms. Switzer. Mr. Handerson, the 4th principal of Gyeoseong School and Campbell, the first dean of Keimyung University. Currently, on the first floor, various bibles, missionary relics, history of Christianity, and, on the second floor, the tabernacle model and Old and New Testament related souvenirs from Israel are exhibited.
