Keimyung Univ. DSMCWhat is the pastoral room?

The missionary activities at Dongsan Hospital that were begun in 1899 by Missionary Johnson continue to date through the pastoral room, which is leading hospital ministry provided in Daegu and Gyeonbuk. Also, the pastoral room educates and trains new hospital pastors and, thereby, prepares the ground for spiritual healing in the country. The pastoral room is used for ministry for the staff, patients, educational ministry, and missionary networking.

Cooperation and Exchange

• We share Christian culture with other hospitals (Yonsei Univ. Severance, Ewha Womans Univ. Hanyang Univ. Myongji Univ. and Kosin Univ. Hospitals) through Christian University Hospital Federation.
• MOU with New Jersey Korea Church
• MOU with Korean National Conference of the Unifing Church in Australia
• Exchange and cooperation with the New Zealand Healthcare Chaplain’s Association and New Zealand Auckland City Hospital
• Exchange and cooperation with Sydney Institute of Cancer Aid Inc.
• Exchange and cooperation with 14 churches in Daegu and Gyeongbuk (Nambu, Namseong, Neulpureun, Dalseong, Daegu Seomun, Daegu Singwang, Daegu Jaei, Daegu Jaeil, Daegu Jungang, Daegu Pyeonggang, Dongil, Amen, Eunpyeong, Haneuldameun Church)
