The Department of Urology at DSMC performed endoscopic operations for benign prostatic hyperplasia, bladder tumor, and kidney stone for the first time in the region, and published the largest number of total cystectomy operations for bladder cancer patients. Recently, the department has been providing up-to-date surgical procedures to painlessly remove urinary stones by using 4th-generation extracorporeal shock wave, and treatment for urinary incontinence and dysuria.
