KMU Dongsan Hospital honors most major credit cards such as Visa, Master, BC, and etc. Direct Billing Service can be arranged between the hospital and foreign insurance companies and TPA companies.
Insurance Guide
Tricare Prime Beneficiaries
- When your primary doctor on-post at a military treatment facility refers you to us, we file claims on your behalf based on the authorization from International SOS, the overseas contractor. Care received without a referral is subject to point-of-service fees, which is your responsibility.
Insured members (With direct billing agreement)
- Make payments for outpatient & emergency services and proceed to file claim with your insurance for reimbursement.
- For planned hospitalization, we will contact your insurance company to obtain the Guarantee of Payment on your behalf and process the direct billing arrangement.
Insured members (Without direct billing agreement)
- You will be required to make payments for the received medical care first, then submit your claim documents directly to your insurance company. We will provide you with an English receipt and other necessary documents.
Non-insured members
- You must pay all costs for medical services out-of-pocket.
Korean National Health Insurance Holders
- Patients covered by the Korean National Insurance Program must bring a referral from a primary physician at a local clinic in order to receive the benefits provided by the Korean National Insurance Program. For more details please refer to the Outpatient care page.
Notice : All inpatients are subject to deposit your estimated amount of inpatient cost and have a guarantor for the hospital bill.
