Immediate Admission
Your doctor may recommend immediate admission on the day of your outpatient or emergency visit.
Please visit the IHC with the doctor's admission approval form,
hospitalization agreement form and insurance card (if applicable).
- Scheduled Admission
- Depending on your operation schedule or the availability of beds, we may schedule your admission on a different day. In this case, our staff at IHC will notify you with the date and time of your scheduled admission. Please visit the IHC with the doctor’s admission approval form, hospitalization agreement form and insurance card (if applicable) on the day of your admission. If you need to cancel or reschedule your admission, please contact us as soon as possible.
- Medical Certificates
- If you need medical certificates or records please make sure to inform your nurse or one of our IHC staff 1day prior to your date of discharge. Please refer to Medical Records for more details on issuance of medical certificates.
Discharge
Your doctor will determine when you can be discharged from the hospital depending on your condition. Once your discharge plan is determined, our medical staff will notify you with the expected date of discharge in advance. Discharges are generally processed by 11:00. If you wish to be discharged earlier or later than the scheduled time, please consult with your nurse or IHC staff.
- Discharge Checklist

- Arrange someone to pick you up from the hospital on the day of discharge if necessary.
- Review any written instructions from your medical staff and be sure to ask any questions you may have about medications, activities, and diet after discharge.
- If you need any medical certificates, reports, copy of images or documentations, make sure to inform your nurse or one of our IHC staff.
- Make sure you have scheduled any follow-up appointments or tests required after discharge.
- Be sure to make payment for all necessary hospital bill.
