Director of KMU Dongsan Hospital
The medical missionaries founded the hospital on the pioneering and sacrificial spirit of spreading the Gospel of Christ through medical practice. Building upon this spirit of being at the medical frontier, it is now equipped with a world-class state-of-the-art medical facility and 125 years of rich history and experience. The latest medical equipment, next-generation computing system, and smart healthcare environment contributed to becoming a world-class medical center. As a next generation hospital, the entire facility was constructed as an energy-saving eco-friendly building and received the LEED certification by the Green Building Council in the U.S. The East-West orientation of the hospital building also allows maximum exposure to natural sunlight. The high rising building offers a clear view of the blue sky, which is an expression of our heart to extend heartwarming and caring touch.
Dongsan Hospital also has the most extended history of supporting foreign patients in the region. Primarily, it provided medical support to USFK personnel stationed in the area since the 1960s. Today, it offers specialized services for international patients from around the globe.
Dongsan Hospital will continue to strive to provide the best medical care with a warm heart and loving hands.
Your continued support and encouragement will be a great motivation for us to become a leading hospital in the world by continuing to strive for excellence in medicine and healthcare.
